Learn Some and Have Some Fun
This class is tailored for the advanced beginner/intermediate player.

A quick review of chord inversions and the CAGED system with some fun playing along with a few recordings to get us started and then we’ll learn about chords in a key and common chord progressions.. We’ll put that all together learning a new song and continue work on some strumming dynamics and tempo/rhythm considerations. Handouts and song sheets will be provided. SCT and Baritone uke players are all welcome. You should be comfortable playing chord progressions in several keys, but most importantly, be willing to have fun and maybe learn some new stuff.

Advanced Ukulele     Bruce Cowan                        Social Hall
Beatle Ballads with Bruce.
The Beatles could really rock out, but they were also known for their heartfelt ballads. Sometimes you just want to slow down … We’ll have a go at For No One, Girl, and I’ll Follow the Sun.The class is meant for intermediate and advanced players who can confidently change chords in the common keys (C, G, F, D, A) and who might be ready to try playing melodies and new chord forms.
