Beginning Ukulele Patricia Bolen
Classroom
This class is for beginners, those who have never played a ukulele or for those who want a basic brush-up. We will take you through how to hold the ukulele, how to strum, and how to play some easy chords including C, F, G and G7. At the end of the session, you will be able to play “How Much Is That Ukulele In The Window” and “Three Little Birds”.
Beyond Beginner Debbie Littlejohn
Back Classroom
Ready to move ahead with your ukulele playing? You know your C, F, and G chords and can mostly strum in rhythm. In this class you will try out some new chords, strums, and chord progressions. We’ll play songs that help you practice making smoother chord changes while you sing. Let’s have fun making music!
Intermediate/Advanced Ukulele Bruce Cowan
Social Hall
Mid-Century Popular Music: We’ll play two or three songs, giving attention to interpretation, performance, and a wee bit of music theory. This class is meant for intermediate and advanced players who can confidently change chords in the common keys (C, G, F, D, A) and who might be ready to try playing melodies and new chord forms.
